Building with Agentic AI: A Fintech Leader’s Show & Tell

Building with Agentic AI: A Fintech Leader’s Show & Tell

In financial services, accuracy isn’t optional and process isn’t bureaucracy. Lack of either is a liability. That reality shapes how leaders in finance approach agentic AI.

Join us for an interactive conversation with Cheri Hewlett, an SVP at BlackLine, a CPA and a PAC member.

Cheri will share how she conceptualized and built her own personal agentic AI operating system and her perspective on what it actually takes to design agents worthy of trust. Her solution is early and openly a work in progress. She designed her 24/7 agentic team to support her day-to-day, catch insights or perspectives she’d otherwise miss, and fill in domain gaps. She’ll talk about areas where autonomy made sense, where dependencies needed to be explicit, and why architecture decisions look different when a wrong answer has real life consequences.

Part show-and-tell, part honest conversation about what worked, what broke, and what she’d do differently.

About our speaker:

Cheri Hewlett is a technology executive, CPA, and U.S. Air Force veteran. She's spent her career building — enterprise platforms, a CPA firm, a real estate portfolio — and brings a practitioner's perspective to how AI actually works in fintech and the real world.
