Trustworthy AI (TAI) Showcases & Matchmaking

Short Video | Startups with Judge Q&A | Why TAI Matters to Matchmaking Attendees

PAC hosted two inaugural Trustworthy AI Showcase and Matchmaking events during Tech Week Boston and Tech Week NYC.

Healthtech startups applied to showcase and were selected to present based on their value proposition, progress and evidence of trustworthiness.

During the interactive, virtual event, a panel of judges with AI governance and trustworthiness expertise engaged founders in Q&A, while the audience scored startups on their perceived trustworthiness.

In summary, key observations in the comments displayed above include the following:

  • Enterprise will stay stuck in pilots until there is more trust.
  • TAI requires evidence and data; it currently suffers from a measurement problem.
  • Untrustworthy AI is worse than no AI in critical industries, like healthcare.
  • TAI makes AI useful, adoptable and worth building.
  • Understanding TAI for your business is how you understand your customers.
