About our speakers:
Ra'ad Siraj is a technology and AI governance executive who has built and scaled governance programs in regulated environments. At Amazon he led AI governance across a global portfolio of machine learning and generative AI use cases spanning dozens of countries. Before Amazon he built AI governance at MassMutual from early maturity to scale and served as interim head of privacy governance. Earlier he held CIO, CTO and managing director roles at Eaton Vance, BNY Mellon and State Street, giving him experience on both sides: Building enterprise technology and governing it. Ra’ad writes about consequential decisions in AI systems, and why each one needs a named human owner, in Siraj, a newsletter on AI governance for executives. He holds an MS in Computer Science from Harvard and a BS from UC Santa Barbara, serves on several boards and mentors at MassChallenge.

Mary Beth Snodgrass is the founder of the Product Advisory Collective (PAC) and a tech strategist, entrepreneurial leader and researcher. For the past 15+ years, her work has included advising venture-backed startups, building new tech products and startups and consulting on “innovation within bounds” and risk management for multi-billion-dollar projects in highly regulated industries, primarily healthcare and energy. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts.
